Administration

The school is
governed by a Board of Governors. The Principal carries on the
general administration with the assistance of Matrons, House
Masters and Senior and Junior Co-ordinators. There are four
Houses - called Doris (Red), Ivy (Green), Aubry (Yellow) and
Emanuel (Blue) - in the school, each under the supervision of
House Teachers. There exists a healthy collective rivalry
among the Houses to excel in studies, games, athletics, drill,
P.T. display, boxing and other co-curricular
activities.
Two School Captains, one boy and girl from
among the students, are nominated by the Principal. these
appointments are of great responsibility, authority and
honour. The Captains exercise general supervision over all
students and act as a liaison between the Staff and the
student and a link between the students and the Principal.
Each House two house Captains who are responsible for
maintaining discipline and junior scholars.
The Staff
The members of the
school staff are highly qualified and very competent. They are
selected by the Board of Governors. The qualifications laid
down for the recruitment of the teaching staff are: a good
academic degree and teaching degree with strong english
background, proficiency in sports and ability to organise
co-curricular activities.
