A sum of Rs. 1200/- per annum for a student standing first in class for seven consecutive years. This scholarship is then awarded for as long as the student studies in CARMAN SHYAMPUR.
A student getting 4 points in the I.S.C. Board Examinations his/her entire graduation fee (for day scholar seat) will be awarded by the school.
A student getting 5 points in the I.S.C Board Examinations, his/her graduation tuition fee shall be paid by the school.
A student being awarded 5 points in he I.C.S.E examinations will be educated free of coast at CARMAN SYAMPUR for class XI and XII.
A student being awarded 6 points in the I.C.S.E Examination will be granted freeship in his/her entire tuition fee for class XI and class XII at CARMAN SYAMPUR.

Assessments
There are three internal assessments conducted i.e. 1st quarterly, half yearly and the final assessment. A report card is maintained for each pupil and the results of the tests and assessment are conveyed to the Parents/Guardians to enable them to keep up to date with their childs progress.
Regular Parent Teacher meetings are organised for which attendance by the Parent is compulsory.
In order to qualify for promotion a pupil must get an average pass percentage in all subjects i.e. 40% for class one class one to class VII and 50% for class VIII to XII. It is compulsory to pass in English.
Pupils are prepared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education examination (I.C.S.E year 10) and the Indian school Certificate Examination (I.S.C. year 12) conducted by the Council for the Indian School certificate examinations, New Delhi.
The I.C.S.E. course includes:
English as a compulsory passing subject.
Hindi
Maths
Science i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Social Studies i.e. History, Civics and Geography
The sixth subject is an optional one choosing any one from Economics or Computer Science.
Students wishing to join CARMAN in class XI must do so at the beginning of the Academic year. These students will be granted provisional admission on the basis of their preliminary examination results and this admission will be confirmed on the basis of the student being awarded the required percentage in the Board examinations.
In case the child fails or does not get the required percentage in the board examination he/she will have to change their course of study (from science to commerce) or will be asked to leave the school. In both case the decision of the Principal is final.
Candidates must pass in 5 out of six subjects with English as compulsory for qualification of a pass certificate. Students who obtain ICSE or any equivalent pass certificate (with two languages including English, and at one sitting) are eligible for admission to the I.S.C. course (Class XI).

Class XI Registration
Registration for students to class XI is done within 10 days of the declaration of the I.C.S.E. results. A late fee of RS 500/- per candidates will be charged for those who approach the School after these 10 days.
Please send attested photocopies of the Board result and a Character Certificate from the Principal of the Application present school to us as soon as the Board results are declared to enable us to place him/her on the Schools merit list for admission. The original certificates must be brought to the School at the time of admission.
Medical Bane
Incase of a student being unwell, provision for a home examination will be done but only after recieving a medical certificate to the effect by a qualified M.B.B.S. doctor must be supplied in time.
A student has to appear for atleast two out of the three examination to qualify for promotion.. and cannot provide a medical certificate for two examinations.
Migration Certificate
Student who wish to further their education elsewhere after class X or XII may apply and obtain a Migration Certificate from the school office.
School Discipline
On school days and at school functions, all students are bound to wear the school uniform. Students without uniform are not allowed to attend the classes and will be sent home, in that case the school disclaims all responsibility for the safety of the child/children outside the school premises.
After assembly, student should walk in silence to their class rooms. Care should be taken not to disturb other classes and silence should be maintained. In the absence of the teacher the monitor assumes responsibility for order and discipline in the class room.
The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, stationery, money, watches, any clothing items and so on, as every student is responsible for his/her belongings. Pupils are advised to bring heir books etc. securely packed in a box or a bag. It is not advisable for them to bring money or valuables to school.
Any damages done by the pupil in the school premises or in the hostel is to be made good by the Parent. Waste paper should be placed in baskets or bins provided for the purpose. Borrowing or lending of money exchange of articles is not permitted.
